The situation

Equilibrium had demonstrated a world-first rotating detonation ramjet, but the story began inside the engineering.

People encountered the mechanism before they understood why it mattered. Investors, defence and potential partners were being asked to appreciate the physics before anyone had told them what the physics made possible.

What we changed

We reframed the company around the capability the technology makes possible. Equilibrium became a sovereign propulsion company building faster, cheaper and more manufacturable engines for defence today and civil aviation tomorrow.

The strategic context did the heavy lifting: allied missile production cannot keep pace, and the engine is a practical answer to that problem.

The impact

The technology now sits inside a clear investor, defence and dual-use narrative.

The founder can lead with the commercial significance of the engine and use the science to prove it, supporting a live capital raise and strategic conversations.

The line the market now repeats

Practical propulsion for the hypersonic era.

"I knew what we were building was special. Murphy & Company made sure the people who matter understood it too. The doors that opened were the ones I didn't even know how to knock on."
